Impossible Reflection – Impossible Sculpture in Solid Stainless Steel (After Oscar Reutersvärd)
Beschreibung
Impossible Reflection
Impossible Reflection is a handcrafted stainless steel sculpture based on an impossible object drawing by Oscar Reutersvärd.
The sculpture translates a two-dimensional reflective paradox into a physically real and stable three-dimensional form.
From defined viewing angles, the structure appears logically consistent while forming an optical contradiction.
The object is manufactured entirely from solid stainless steel. No hollow profiles or lightweight constructions are used.
All elements are built from full material and precisely welded and finished. Its intersecting planes and vertical structure create the impression of mirrored depth and spatial inversion, giving the sculpture its characteristic visual tension.
The surface is refined with a satin finish, emphasizing material quality and precision.
Space required: x = 216 mm, y = 524 mm, z = 300 mm.
Weight: 6 kg.
The sculpture is designed as a standalone object for architectural, private, and educational environments. Scalable on request.
