Stoked Surfer – Impossible Sculpture in Solid Stainless Steel
Beschreibung
Stoked Surfer
Stoked Surfer is a handcrafted stainless steel sculpture based on an impossible spatial construction.
The object represents a physically unrealizable geometric situation that becomes visually coherent only from specific viewpoints.
From these angles, separate elements merge into a continuous structure that cannot exist in real three-dimensional space.
The illusion is created entirely through precise spatial geometry and controlled perspective.
No digital manipulation or post-processing is involved.
Stoked Surfer was originally designed and constructed by Werner Stanggaßinger.
The sculpture is manufactured entirely from solid stainless steel material. All components are made from full material stock. No hollow profiles or lightweight structures are used.
The object is massive, dense, and structurally stable. Its physical weight contrasts deliberately with the impossible geometry it represents.
From the backside, the object reveals an impossible reflection-like connection.
From other viewing angles, the true spatial separation becomes visible.
The surface is finished with a fine satin treatment, emphasizing material quality and craftsmanship.
Dimensions: x = 250 mm, y = 276 mm, z = 288 mm.
Weight: 6 kg.
Stoked Surfer is a physically real, massive object that represents a genuinely impossible spatial construction. Custom sizes are available on request.
